COVID 19 UPDATE 10/15/21
We are pleased to inform you we have not had any positive covid-19 test results since our last posting. We continue with increased monitoring and testing per our governmental guidelines.
We are pleased to let you know there are no further clusters of respiratory symptoms in a 72-hour period since our last posting.
We have notified the appropriate governmental agencies and following their recommendations.
We are continuing increased testing as well as anyone who shows or complaints of any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19 and or respiratory symptoms.
We are taking steps as per the recommendations of the Infection Control Assessment and Promotion Program (ICAP) Team.
We will continue our routine testing of staff and residents as mandated by the our Federal and State Agencies.
We will notify any responsible party of any change in condition, as always. We will also notify any individual/responsible party in addition to our local, state, and CDC of any abnormal test result.
AS ALWAYS, OUR MAIN FOCUS IS RESIDENT AND STAFF SAFETY AND WELLBEING!
Please call the facility if you have any questions or would like an update on your family member. But please remember we can only give out information to those we are legally permitted to do so.

· Appointments will no longer be needed in order to visit.
· We will continue to limit 1-2 visitors at a time during the visit
· All visitors must sign in and out through security when visiting or leaving whether the visit is inside or outside of the building.
· We do ask that visits be off the unit or outside (weather permitting) as much as possible
· Please do not visit if feeling ill.
· Face Masks must be worn appropriately over your nose and mouth at all times during the visit.
· If further protective measures i.e.: gown, gloves, etc. are required the visitor must remain in this attire during the entire visit. You will be directed and assisted by staff with his process
· When visiting with those who have roommates alternate visiting areas will be available and required.
· Visitors must go directly to the area for visitation. No wandering or loitering in the hallways.
· Do not visit multiple residents on the same visiting day. (Unless previous arrangements are made) IE: visiting husband & wife, legal guardians with multiple wards
· Please comply with staff requests to appropriately wear face masks, social distancing, hand washing, etc.… If you do not comply, we ask you to end your visit.
Please remember our concern is for the safety of our residents, staff, and visitors.
Visitation can change d/t possible exposure and outbreaks.
These changes may be resident by resident, unit, area, or the entire facility based on the outbreak status inside the facility.
We will continue to have compassionate care visits these visits which may be inside the facility, which will be made by appointment after the approval from Administrator and/or Director of Nursing.
We are making constant changes/revisions with our outing procedures for residents’ d/t the increase in positivity rate in Covid 19 cases in the county and state. Please contact the Administrator, Director of Nursing, or Assistance Director of Nursing with questions and concerns in reference to outings. i.e.: attending church, shopping, home visits, our outings in the public areas. Please continue to reach our residents for Zoom visits and phone calls.
We will continue to keep you informed weekly or sooner if needed.
We will be following CMS guidelines for resident visitation. Please keep in mind that this is subject to change depending continuing changing circumstances and guidelines from our governing agencies.
We will continue monitoring residents, staff, and all essential workers per CDC guidelines, as we have been doing. These guidelines include, but are not limited to:
• Maintaining social distancing
• Continuing our enhanced infection control protocols
• Screening staff health status prior to entering the Community
• Increasing the frequency of health assessments for residents
• Dedicating staff to serve those who may be at higher risk
• Engaging residents in individualized activities to meet their social needs
• Expanding use of Personal Protection Equipment (masks, face shield, gowns etc.)
